First I want to start off by saying if you don’t already have a heart punch, I seriously suggest investing in one right now. This is my absolute favorite punch. I am slightly obsessed with craft punches, and besides a circle, I find I use the heart one quite a bit!
Ok, off the soapbox and on to a fun little project! I’m all about small gestures and little things. Seriously, the smallest things make me so happy. So, for Valentine’s day, I made this little heart garland. Each number corresponds with an hour of the day, and on the back I wrote either a sweet note or a little coupon like, “free dinner of your choice” or “no cleaning for a whole week”!
This is such a simple project. All you need are:
Some card stock (I used leftover pink glitter)
Crochet string
Needle
Pompoms (optional)
(sorry for the messy mantle, we need the wire for the surround sound speakers)
Directions:
1. Punch or cut out your hearts
2. Write whatever you like on them
3. String using the needle
4. Done!
See how easy?! It almost feels silly to write directions! Plus, you can just sit in front of a movie and knock this out in no time!
I hope you have a wonderful weekend and week! If you are doing anything special for V Day, let me know!
